Leather Craft Skills 1 - 7th October 2021
In Person Worksop– this class is designed to give a good study in basic leathercraft skills. The techniques learned will give you a chance to get making for yourself. You will make three projects each designed to cover different skills.

This workshop is designed to give a good start into learning basic leathercraft skills such as hand stitching, edging, and setting hardware, and can be purchased with our Part 2 class to see your skills progress.
Please note ideally bookings need to be made at least 7 working days prior to the event.

- Understanding different leather types
- Cutting and shaping leather, transferring templates
- Saddle stitch and back stitch
- Setting Rivets
Plus best practice for cutting holes, stropping and simple edging.
The class works in much the same way as a physical class, numbers are kept small and the tutor will check that everyone is keeping up. In many of the sessions there are some short videos that will show close up detail. Links to these will be available to keep after the session. We have discovered these classes are very successful, good fun and easy to access, using the Zoom app. (Full instruction will be given).
