LACING
Lacing
Leathercraft products and projects can be laced as well as stitched to secure. Over the centuries lacing to protect leather edges (whipstitch) has evolved into elaborate woven looped stitches that entirely cover the edge and add detail and complexity to your projects. Lacing is also used to wrap tool handles, tie and lash poles together, to act as drawstring for pouches and has been used in jewellery making since the Stone Age.
