Answering your questions:

We are open for phone calls and emails between 10am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturdays. We're placing emphasis on internet ordering and in the process of looking at online courses. Our supply lines are in the best shape possible and we'll keep to our usual standards in meeting your orders. Please note orders may take a couple of days longer to arrive at present. International customers - please note we are currently unable to ship to some countries please check with us before you place your order - email with your details. Thank you for your support, and remember to keep calm and leathercraft.

THE FIGHT CONTINUES … For 20 years we have loved welcoming people to the Store and doing Shows throughout the country. All that has had to stop for a while. We are concentrating on meeting orders placed on our website, or over the phone 01629 581403 (9am – 4pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-2pm Saturday). Sarah is working from home ( keeping the website going, doing internet tutorials and answering your questions. Kate is packing your orders as responsibly as ever. There is no one more assiduous than Kate about virus hygiene, she has been using anti-viral hand gel for years. Every order is packed with a clean pair of gloves or freshly cleaned hands. Packing is kept to a safe minimum, and paper/newspaper used wherever possible. If a plastic bag has to be used to hold bottles, it is sanitised before sending. All relevant Store surfaces are cleaned regularly and everyone involved is symptom-free.

LEATHER: New facts about the virus are sometimes different, depending on who you listen to. Regarding leather, it is an absorbent material and Government advice would be, the virus can only be active for 24 hours on such surfaces. Leathers can also be cleaned/washed/wiped with soap or anti-virus wipes. As usual, always test small areas first.

Thank you for continuing to order, we truly believe leathercraft is a great business or hobby to do from home over this period. We will be continually putting new ideas on Facebook/website to help.

Can you catch Coronavirus from a parcel?

COVID-19 can survive on surfaces, however, The World Health Organization has stated:
‘the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved,
travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is low.’

How can I minimise risk further?
If you are worried about receiving packages, there are several measures you can take to
further minimise your risk:
• Disinfect the parcel with an alcohol-based wipe before opening it
• Minimise your contact with the parcel
• Quickly discard empty packaging
• Wash your hands thoroughly after opening
